Casa Zama is located right along the southern curve of Half Moon Bay. It is an easy walk to Akumal Bay, well known for it's beautiful beach and home to most of Akumal's great restaurants, dive shops and other services. Headed north, an easy 15 minute walk will take you to Akumal's famous Yal-Ku Lagoon. Along the way you will pass La Buena Vida Restaurant and Bar and Que Onda, Akumal's Italian restaurant.
This is a great place to take in the incredible views and rich natural beauty of Half Moon Bay. This area is always quiet. You can count on guests enjoying the breeze and view of Half Moon Bay in the afternoon over a cocktail or cool refreshment. We often see guests of Casa Zama enjoying the afternoon along the ocean side while visiting with neighbors. It is a relaxing and friendly environment. One that we are very pleased to offer!
Casa Zama offers three bedrooms, each with private bath. For added privacy two of the bedrooms have their own private entrances. Casa Zama can accomodate 4 people in the main house and 6 with the thrid bedroom. This additional room has 2 twin beds which convert to a King as well.
The kitchen is well equipped so that you can prepare your own meals and mix up tropical drinks for afternoons on the patio. The dining and living areas are open and very comfortable. A large traditional Mexican style dining table can comfortably seat six. This is perfect spot to delight in a traditional Mayan meal that can be prepared for you in house! Casa Zama has been designed to be open and breezy. The property catches the breezes off the bay. Ceiling fans also help keep Casa Zama fresh and cool all year long.
