One of our favorite units and definitely an Akumal classic, Penthouse at the Reef is a very special two bedroom, two bath condominium, occupying the entire third floor of The Reef. This unit has special and unique features that have made it a favorite of many of Akumal's long time visitors.
The Reef has a great central location on Half Moon Bay. Walk to La Buena Vida restaurant or grill back at the condo - if available at the front desk. The snorkeling is great just out front of the building. Beach towels and hammocks are also available at the front office.
One of the Penthouse's most outstanding features are the very large and very private patios that span both the ocean and jungle sides of the unit. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Caribbean, margaritas while you watch the sun set over the tropical jungle. The large ocean side patio is accessible from both bedrooms and the living and dining area. The sitting and dining areas are oriented to face the ocean so can easily enjoy the view from all points. The living and dining area of the Penthouse are situated in the center of the unit, with bedrooms on either end affording more privacy for guests.
Each bedroom has an incredible view of Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean beyond, another unique feature of Penthouse at the Reef. High ceilings and ceiling fans provide fresh ocean breezes to keep you cool and comfortable.

Late check-in instructions included. | Your unit is managed by Akumal Management Company (AMC), operated by Angel. Their offices are located across the street from Playa Caribe Condos, above the Midway store. Office hours, 8:00 - 5:00 pm.
