Hey kids! Here is a great opportunity for you to check out the world of scuba diving.

The Akumal Dive Shop, well known for their professional staff and quality instruction offers this very special course which will definitely be the highlight of any kid's vacation.

The Akumal Dive Shop will set you up with all the appropriate scuba equipment, take you out to the calm, pool like conditions of our bay, and in water less than ten feet deep, swim and look at the fish and other sea life just like a regular scuba diver.

This PADI non-certification course is designed to give kids a real taste of diving. It is taught and supervised by a certified PADI Instructor. The warm shallow waters of our bay are clear and teeming with life. This course is both fun and safe. Big kids can join in too.

AKUMAL KID'S CLUB

The Akumal Kid's Club is located on Akumal Bay near Lol-Ha Snack Bar. They offer two sessions daily. Each with a variety of activities for all ages.

Morning Activities
Ages: Infants - 10 Years
9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
$6.00 US /Child/Hour
Activities include arts and crafts, beach activities, field trips within Akumal and an introduction to local customs and culture.

Afternoon Activities
On request (Not included in pre-paid program)

Evening Activities
All ages From 6 to 9 PM $6.00/Child/Hr.
Supervised dinner in Pizzeria (cost of meal not included), board games and movies in children's activity center next to Lol-ha Snack Bar.
All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Please indicate if you are interested in the Children's Program. This helps us with staffing requirements.

There is an excellent turtle watch and release program from May through September in Akumal

Special Pre-Paid Program
For those wanting to take advantage of unlimited use of the Kid's Club, you may pre-pay for the service.

Prepay charge is $25 / Day / Child and allows the child full use of the Kid's Club during the morning and evening hours. (Lunch and dinner not included)

It is possible to pre-pay for as many days as you like.

No refunds for unused portions of the program!
